8 APRIL 2019 - PAINTING AND COLLECTING: THE CREATION OF THE BOWES MUSEUM


The Bowes Museum, housed in a ‘French Chateau’ on the edge of the Pennines, has an important display of art, ceramics, furniture and textiles, most of which were collected by John and Josephine Bowes

Lectures are held in the Walker Hall,Troon(MAP) and last about one hour.

Members should be seated by 1.20pm for a prompt 1.30pm start.
